Mar 28, 2012 Version 4.3 of Application Mover is now available. Application Mover is a tool that relocates installed programs from one path to another on your hard disk. Application Mover takes files found in the path specified in the 'Current Path' field (see below) and moves them to the 'New Path' path. Application Mover scans the windows registry for references to files located in the 'Current' field and changes those references to the 'New' path. Application Mover also scans all windows shortcuts in the Start Menu and adjusts path references to the new program location. Finally, *.ini and Install.log files present in the original program path are checked for strings matching the old path location. If found, these strings are changed to the new location. A variety of confirmation choices are available and the program can optionally save a log file of changes made to your computer

Mar 27, 2012 Version 3.1 of Application Inventory is now available. Application Inventory is a utility that scans your system for installed programs and generates a configurable report listing file version information about the files that that were discovered. Optional follow-up scans can are then automatically initiated to cross-reference the file scan results with windows .lnk shortcuts and/or references in the windows registry. Icon indicators show the presence of .lnk and/or registry references. Details on file properties, shortcuts, and registry keys are available by highlighting a file and then using 'Properties' and 'References' dialogs. Include and exclude filters can be used to define the scan by path &/or string(s) found in file version information. The fields included in the results are configurable. For example, you can list (or not) File Version, File Description, Internal Name, Copyright, File Path, etc. Results can be copied to the clipboard, printed, or saved in a delimited file you specify. Application Inventory can also launch windows explorer on the path containing a file in the results list.

Feb 09, 2012 Version 7.10 of Replace Studio Pro and Replace Studio Business Edition are now available.
Changes in the Pro version include: A mouse tool tip now displays the name of the 'Favorite' when the mouse is hovered over the Search For/Replace With and the File Mask/Path fields in the main window when a 'Favorite' is loaded; Loading a 'Favorite' that does not contain a File Mask/Path setting now leaves the existing File Mask/Path in place rather than blanking them out.
Changes in the Business Edition include: The list of search/replace strings and masks/paths in a script can now be searched - right click on any entry and select 'Search' to activate a simple search dialog that can be used to locate a string of interest in a long list of search/replace or masks/paths.
Improvements in both versions of the program include: Revision to the Prepend/Append functions along with more informative confirmation prompts during a replace; Improvements to Unicode BE regular expression mode handling. |

Sep 02, 2011 We have released FSConfig - Funduc Software Configuration Utility for use with our Replace Studio Pro and Replace Studio Business Edition utilities (version 7.8+). FS Config is freeware. FS Config makes it easier to the font face & size used for the main program window of Replace Studio Pro and Replace Studio Business Edition. Previously that setting could only be done by a manual edit to the program configuration file. In addition FS Config makes it easy to adjust zip masks used by the programs and a special switch to control a default prompt that is issued when editing files that have mixed line boundaries. |

May 23, 2011 We have released PO Auto-Translator, which is a utility we created as an adjunct to our Resource Translation Toolkit. PO Auto-Translator reads an existing po/pot file and automatically translates the strings using the language setting specified in the po/pot via the GoogleTranslateAPI.dll. At the same time a reverse translation is preformed to cross-check the results against the initial translation. If the reverse translation matches the original string the 'Reverse Translation' column in PO Auto-Translator is blanked out as an indicator that the translation/reverse translation match. Checkboxes can be used to specify the strings to process automatically. Individual strings can also be edited (and translated/check) by double clicking on a string. PO Auto-Translator is released as freeware. The source code is also available on the PO Auto-Translator page. |

The program's Options dialog is then presented so you can establish desired options before the file(s) are processed. Also added is an option setting to establish the maximum line length to be used. |
January 28, 2011 Version 2.2 of our freeware FSHED - Funduc Software Hex Editor is available, along with the source code. We added 'Get Unicode Text' and 'Translate from UTF-8' functions to the Edit Menu and a right click context menu (also new). These functions can be used to convert highlighted binary code to more readable Unicode or UTF-8 text and place it in the windows clipboard after a prompt. We also made improvements to the bookmarking and 'view as floating point' functions. |
