We are happy to announce the release of a new freeware program entitled Funduc Software Code Format. A source code formatter/beautifier for use by programmers, "FS Code Format" has options to determine handling of spacing, tabs, line breaks, indentation, and comments. The program can write numbered backup files in the same path as the originals or write changed files to a different path.

We are please to announce the release of Replace Studio Professional and Replace Studio Business Edition, the next generation in Funduc Software's utility collection of search and replace tools. Replace Studio is a Windows 'grep' utility for searching (or replacing) text-based files such as program code, html files, css files, server logs, raw mail files, at the like. The many features and options include: Case sensitive mode; Whole word mode, Regular Expression mode; Ignore Whitespace mode; Subdirectory search; Multiple file masks; Search/replace in archives; Time/date/size filters; Search/replace multiple strings at once; View replacements in context; Internal Context Viewer; Perform File Operations; and more. Replace Studio Professional is oriented towards users who need to work interactively and perform various search/replaces on-the-fly or via 'Favorites'. Replace Studio Business Edition shares many features with the 'Pro' version but is oriented toward those who primarily need to do automated via 'scripts'.

A new version of FSDBMgr - Funduc Software Database Manager - is available for download. Recent changes include: Manage Products to let you modify &/or add product numbers and descriptions; An 'Order Number' field was added to the sample database; The toolbar was improved; Additional error reporting was added to the data import function.

Updated distributions of Application Mover, Application Inventory, Duplicate File Finder, Folder Synchronize, and Funduc Software Touch (freeware) were posted. Additional &/or updated language support for German, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, & Swedish were added. The language interface is chosen automatically based on your computer's regional settings.

Funduc Software Touch is released as Freeware. It can be downloaded from here and allows changing of attributes and created and access date in addition to the Modified Date. Also, a specified number of seconds can be added to each file's date/time stamp. We decided the Touch functionality currently provided in Search and Replace was better provided as a separate program and since it is fairly trivial, it is our New Year's present to our customers and visitors.

Resource Translation Toolkit is released. It is a shareware utility we developed for our own translation needs. The program is meant to simplify translation work on po, rc (Windows API), resx (.Net) and properties (Java) files and is Windows 7/Vista/XP compatible with 32/64-bit versions. It uses a Translation Memory (.tmx or .pot format) containing unique translated strings to generate translated assemblies, DLLs or catalog files (.mo or Java resources).

Duplicate File Finder version 3.1 was released. It is a utility that identifies duplicate files in one or more paths. Unlike other utilities that only check file names, Duplicate File Finder performs a binary comparison of file contents and can locate files that are alike regardless of names. Program is Windows 7/Vista/XP compatible with 32/64-bit versions. The new version improves the selected file statistics on the status bar and no longer requires the MS runtime DLL be installed on user's systems.
