Search and Replace version 3.7 has several new confirmation and warning dialogs that are provided during replace operations if replacement confirmations have not been disabled.

When binary files such as Word .docs, spreadsheets, Adobe .pdf files, Access .mdb files, .exe's, etc are detected, the following appears:

If a file is read-only, hidden, or system, the following appears:

This is not new but did you know the program also lets you know if you are about to change the paragraph formatting in a file? 

And also prepend a string to a file...
